When you buy one of our adornments you are buying something made by a woman who is working in the comfort of her own home, doing something she loves at a pace that suits her.
We pride ourselves on flexibility that caters for the ups and downs all women experience. When life is crazy our ladies simply take on less work. We encourage them to make what they enjoy making and it shows in the creations they deliver. There’s a joyfulness that is tangible in each and every item we offer to you.
We encourage you to take your time choosing. Look carefully at the details which really only become apparent on closer inspection. We’re happy to send you additional pics so that you can really gauge the quality. That way you’ll be buying something that you’ll treasure for ever. And that is exactly how it should be.
LOOK WHAT WE’VE JUST ADDED!!!
Sitting quietly at home doing what we do best – what it means for you.
Because we love what we do, we’re using lockdown time on additional embroidery and beading, so the pieces we make now are more embellished than usual. This should mean higher prices but we don’t think that would be fair so all work made during lockdown is going to be extra special but at the usual prices. Look at our gorgeous Asha pendant necklaces and recent earrings – they are small and quite discreet, but examine them more closely and you’ll see exquisite tiny details created by entirely by hand. Genuine quality handcraft is a rare luxury in this day and age.
WELCOME TO OUR GALLERY SHOP

If you’re based in South Africa please contact us by whatsapp or email with your location and we’ll respond with the prices in rands and delivery/collection information.
WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT US…
I have two pieces of jewellery from the lovely Colleen and was fortunate to meet her on our trip to South Africa; I love handmade items and textiles created with love, care and innovation and her products tick all the boxes! Order from her if you want something unique and which will be a joy to wear.

Colleen, thank you so much for creating such beautiful adornments, mine arrived whilst I was away on holidays in Sydney, Australia, I couldn’t wait to get back home to see my fabulous neck piece. It is divine and I love it, the colours are so vibrant and the beads are fascinating, to top it off, it is just so comfortable and light to wear. I am absolutely delighted.

My cousin Colleen was specially commissioned to create a necklace for my son and daughter-in law’s traditional Zulu wedding… a unique blend of African and Celtic elements, using Scottish tartan, Ghanaian glass beads and embellished with beautiful gold embroidered detail. I could see her artistic juices begin flowing as soon as she was presented with the raw elements. She took the time to really listen and understand the essence of what this gift would symbolise in the uniting of our families and cultures. It was presented to the bride as an integral part of the ceremony, and perfectly matched the dress that we had made for the occasion.
Thank you Colleen for adding that very special personal touch with your beautiful artwork!

I bought two pairs of Colleen’s gorgeous earrings recently and I couldn’t love them more. I feel fabulous whenever I wear them and connected to my home. My only dilemma was which pair to keep and which to give to a friend! Colleen went out of her way to make the process easy, despite geographic distance, and they arrived quickly and beautifully wrapped. Thank you!
