I’ve used a very traditional bright red shweshwe fabric for these earrings which feature some fabulous beads.
You’ll immediately notice the gorgeous glass Indian lampwork beads which really warrant closer inspection. But more subtle are the Ebony and aluminium beads. Resembling sandwiches, the recycled aluminium is slivered between hand filed ebony wood and are made by the Tuareg tribe of North and West Africa. You’ll also find ostrich eggshell, glass and ceramic beads hailing from South Africa, Bali and Czechoslavakia.
Our handmade tassels are made from a considered blend of colours and tones that add depth and texture that sets us apart from ordinary factory made tassels.
