Created on a mini blocked canvas using a variety of media, this brooch is a very special miniature artwork.
I’ve used a newsapaper cutting, pieces of vintage jewellery, beads and fabric scraps to make this piece. The textile buttons are made from a variety of textiles and include raw silk, sari silk, English cotton lawn and shweshwe. It has a felt backing.
